Information we collect

When you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address, phone number and message you choose to provide. Our visitor counter stores aggregate visit totals by country. It does not retain visitor IP addresses or personal identities.

Country detection

The counter first uses country information supplied by our hosting provider or content delivery network. When that information is unavailable, the server temporarily sends the visitor's public IP address to the IPWhoIs geolocation service only to determine the visitor's country. Young Science® does not write that IP address to its visitor statistics.

Embedded map

The website includes an embedded Google Map to show the Young Science® location. When the map loads, Google may receive standard browser and device information under its own privacy terms.

How we use it

Contact details are used only to respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about it. Aggregate country totals are used to show the website's global audience.

Sharing and retention

Young Science® does not sell your personal information. Information may be disclosed only when required by law or to service providers necessary to operate the website.

Security

Reasonable safeguards are used to protect submitted information, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
